KMS PTA is excited to bring SCREENAGERS: Growing Up in the Digital Age, a documentary about the biggest parenting issue of our time to our community at Studio Movie Grill in The Colony on Tuesday, February 27. Get your ticket today as space is limited to 100 seats!  

This parent education opportunity is free to all attendees and food will be available for purchase. While the film is appropriate for children 10 and up, all KMS students will view the film in class so we ask that they not attend due to space limitations. Please do not bring children under the age of 10.

SCREENAGERS addresses the most pervasive parenting issue of our time head on-depicting teen struggles over social media, video games and internet addiction. The film empowers kids to best navigate the digital world and provides practical resources to help them do it.

    (They do not accept expired Box Tops!!  So please do not include)
  • STEP 3: Write the NUMBER OF BOX TOPS, STUDENT’S NAME and GRADE on the baggie
  • STEP 4: Give the baggies to your homeroom teacher or office

*The top collectors in each grade level will win a prize!!*

The 8th graders have Denim & Diamonds, the 6th graders have a beginning of the year social, and the 7th graders wanted more than just a T-shirt. So, the

7th Grade Social is back!!!
    

Thursday, January 25th from 4:15-6:30 pm 

 

Midterm exams will be done and it’ll be a great time for your 7th grader to hang out and have fun with friends at school.

Check in is at 4:15pm, and the event runs from 4:30-6:30 pm.
There will be music, a photo booth, and lots of fun games – video games, laser tag, Gaga ball, booger wars, and bumper ball.

Come on out to the Killian Middle School Fall Family BBQ Fest.
November 15, 2017
6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.

Everyone is invited to the Killian Middle School Fall Family Festival on November 15th from 6-8 pm.  Bring the entire family for a BBQ dinner, games for the kids, face painting, and a cake walk. This is a great opportunity to meet other KMS families and see your teachers outside of the classroom.
Tickets are $5 per person, or $20 for a family ticket that includes all of your family members. Each ticket covers a BBQ plate (meats, potato salad, bread), drink, and all of the festivities.
Tickets will be sold in the cafeteria (cash/check) during lunch from November 8-15, or they can be purchased by credit card online starting November 6 using the following link:

VOLUNTEER TO HELP AT THE FALL FESTIVAL!

KMS PTA Donation Driven Update

Back To School!

The start of the new school year is rapidly approaching and we want to make sure you have the information you need to be prepared. All items below are of equal importance, so please take time to review each one, and make sure you’ve marked all items off your list by the deadlines!

MUSTANG ROUNDUP – Mark your calendar! Mustang Roundup is scheduled for August 17th at Killian Middle
School. This is when you receive information, your student’s schedule, PE Uniforms, WrapPacks, Spirit Wear and more! To accommodate all students, the following schedule is set by grade:
Incoming 8th Graders – 8:30 – 9:30 a.m.
Incoming 7th Graders – 10:30 – 11:30 a.m.
Incoming 6th Graders – 1:30 – 2:30 p.m.
Mustang Roundup will take place in the gym.
